AbdoulKarim received an A.B. from Dartmouth
College and his J.D. from Harvard Law School. Mr. AbdoulKarim
has more than thirty years of practice experience across
a number of disciplines in both the public and private
sectors. His public sector practice has covered virtually
every facet of public entity endeavor, from legislative
and employment to utilities and finance. For more than
six years, he served as Director of Law for the City
of East Cleveland, Ohio, where he handled, supervised,
and worked with outside counsel on matters in the municipal,
county, state, and federal courts of northeast Ohio.
His private sector legal experience includes general
business matters involving formations, transactions,
governance, mergers, acquisitions and dispositions,
as well as securities offerings of various types of
related regulatory and compliance work. In addition,
he has been a director for publicly traded and privately
held companies, with service on various committees including,
finance, audit, and regulatory. In addition, he was
Honorary Consul for the Republic of Guinea for ten years.
