Kenneth B. Chang’s employment practice has included the defense of employers against a variety of discrimination claims under federal and state law. His other employment litigation experience has included wage and hour claims and cases involving the misappropriation of trade secrets. He has also conducted extensive independent investigations of possible employee misconduct on behalf of a Fortune 100 Company. Mr. Chang has drafted and reviewed a variety of agreements addressing employment-related matters such as non-competition, confidentiality, ownership of intellectual property, and executive compensation. He has represented clients in state and federal court and before administrative agencies.
He is an active member of the Board of Directors of Journey House, a nonprofit agency that is building a community infrastructure to increase education, reduce unemployment and crime, strengthen families, and revitalize neighborhoods. Mr. Chang also provides pro bono legal services as a member of the Volunteer Lawyers Project.
Mr. Chang received a B.A., with distinction, from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and received his J.D., cum laude , from the University of Wisconsin Law School. He is admitted to practice in Wisconsin, as well as the U.S. District Court Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin, and is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin. His professional memberships include the Wisconsin Asian Bar Association, DRI, and the Milwaukee Young Lawyers Association. He is conversant in German and Chinese.
