Lora L. McCollom received a B.A. from Creighton University and a J.D. from Creighton University Law School. Ms. McCollom is a member of the Iowa State Bar Association, American Bar Association, Blackstone Inn of Court, Polk County Women Attorneys, Polk County Bar Association, and American Academy of ADR Attorneys. Ms. McCollom is a 2003 graduate of the Greater Des Moines Leadership Institute and a member of the Polk County Bar Association Board of Directors. She has prepared and presented several Continuing Legal Education programs regarding employment law and family law issues and she regularly mediates a variety of civil cases. Her practice includes employment law, insurance defense and general commercial matters. Ms. McCollom is licensed to practice law in the State Courts of Iowa, the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Iowa, and the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals.
