Dawn N. Phillips received a B.A. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School. Ms. Phillips is experienced in the areas of general corporate, mergers and acquisitions, and real estate transactions. Her general corporate experience includes the formation of corporations, partnerships, and limited liability companies and drafting a range of operating agreements, shareholder agreements, and partnership agreements. She provides counsel to clients on a variety of business contracts, including vendor agreements, employment contracts, consulting contracts, and licensing agreements. Her merger and acquisition experience includes drafting transactional and closing documents in connection with stock purchase, stock redemption, and asset purchase transactions. Ms. Phillips also represents emerging real estate development firms and construction companies in a range of commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing transactions. Her professional memberships include Cook County Bar Association, Chicago Bar Association, and Black Women Lawyer’s Association. She is also a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
