Marcella S. Spoto litigates many types of cases such as product liability; medical malpractice; automobile; premises; property damage ; workers compensation and environmental. She represents clients ranging from automotive, insurance, and chemical companies to public entities. She has litigated complex toxic tort claims involving chemical hazards and ground contamination. Ms. Spoto’s commercial litigation practice relates to business disputes involving breach of contract, collections, and fraud. Her experience includes state and federal jury trials, state and multi-district class actions, and appellate practice.
Ms. Spoto is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin. She is a member of DRI, TEMPO Milwaukee, and UNICO National’s Wisconsin Chapter. She is fluent in French and Italian and conversant in German and Spanish. Ms. Spoto is the Co-Chair of Gonzalez Saggio & Harlan’s Product Liability and Toxic Tort Committee.
Ms. Spoto is a Wisconsin native and received her J.D. from the University of Wisconsin in Madison. She has a B.B.A., cum laude, from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, where she majored in International Business and French and minored in German and Economics. LITIGATION
