Joseph M. Fasi, II
 

Joseph M. Fasi II , Equity Partner and Co-Chair Litigation Group, is board certified in Civil Trial Law by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. Mr. Fasi has been lead counsel in over 70 jury and bench trials in Wisconsin, Florida, and Federal Courts with numerous defense verdicts. Mr. Fasi’s practice includes professional malpractice, medical product liability and pharmaceutical defense, defense of nursing homes and assisted living facilities, medical malpractice defense, food contamination issues, transportation law, civil litigation, and sports and entertainment law. Mr. Fasi serves as general counsel for several corporations, and he has been selected as national counsel by a major insurance carrier.

He is a frequent lecturer and author on legal issues and trial techniques. Mr. Fasi is Vice Chair of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Section and the Diversity Initiative Committee of the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel (FDCC), as well as Chair of the Drug, Device, and Biotechnology Section (2009-2010). He is active in DRI, where he is the Past Board Member Liaison to the Drug and Medical Device Committee (2008-present), was elected to the Board of Directors (2001-2004), and served as Chair of the Medical Liability and Health Care Committee (1999 – 2001). His professional memberships also include the National Foundation for Judicial Excellence and Civil Trial Counsel of Wisconsin.

Mr. Fasi has been selected a Wisconsin Super Lawyer for the past five years. He is admitted to practice in the State of Wisconsin, Illinois (pending), Florida, United States Supreme Court, U.S. Court of Appeals, Seventh Circuit, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, U.S. District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin, and U.S. District Court Middle District of Florida. He received a B.A. from Marquette University and an M.A., with honors, from Seattle University. Mr. Fasi received a J.D. from Stetson University, where he was the Notes and Comments Editor for the Stetson Law Review and a member of the National Mock Trial Team. LITIGATION
