Letissa C. Reid received a B.A. from the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor and received a J.D. from Indiana University – Bloomington. Ms. Reid’s practice centers on commercial and administrative litigation, as well as regulatory counseling. Her focus is the energy arena, and she represents utilities and other natural gas and power enterprises before administrative agencies in a variety of regulatory proceedings, including rate cases and other litigation. She also engages in counseling clients regarding energy, environmental, and legislative matters and has successfully defended and mounted cases involving utility rate and service disputes. Ms. Reid has significant commercial litigation experience in cost recovery actions involving environmental remediation.
Prior to joining the Firm, Ms. Reid was an associate for several years at a large Chicago law firm, where she practiced in the areas of energy, environmental compliance, and commercial litigation. From 1998 to 2000, Ms. Reid served as judicial law clerk to the Honorable Shelvin L. M. Hall of the Illinois Appellate Court.
