Erika S. Baurecht received her B.A. from the University of New Mexico with distinction and her J.D. from Marquette University. Ms. Baurecht concentrates her practice in the areas of construction law wherein she assists high profile owners, developers, contractors, and construction managers in project development and the drafting and negotiation of large-scale private and public construction and EPC contracts. Ms. Baurecht also practices in the areas of project finance and commercial lending, commercial real estate development and planning, business transactions, licensing, advertising, marketing and general corporate. Ms. Baurecht serves on the Board of the Wisconsin Commercial Real Estate Women and the Milwaukee Urban Gardens, a non-profit land trust organization dedicated to preserving and developing open green space in Milwaukee. Ms. Baurecht is a frequent speaker regarding commercial and residential construction contracting, real estate development, and Wisconsin construction lien law and is a member of the American Bar Association Forum On The Construction Industry, the Wisconsin State Bar Construction and Public Contract Law Section, the Association of General Contractors of America, the American Subcontractors Association and the Wisconsin State Bar Environmental Law Section.
