Mark Melnick

Biography

Mr. Melnick has over 25 years of experience negotiating, documenting and advising on a wide range of agreements and transactions for established and emerging companies. His concentration is in the fields of software, e-commerce, new media, technology, broadcasting and intellectual property. He has handled transactions involving licensing, distribution, sales, online payment and reseller arrangements, mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures, and public and private debt and equity financings.

Mr. Melnick has worked at large and small law firms, and as in-house counsel for business entities of varying sizes, including Google, CBS, and Westinghouse. Furthermore, he has served as general counsel of two publicly traded companies.

Mr. Melnick received his J.D. from Yale Law School and his B.A. in Political Science, Phi Beta Kappa, summa cum laude, from City University of New York at Brooklyn College. He is admitted to practice in New York.
