Kevin B. Patrick

Biography

Kevin B. Patrick is an Associate in the Firm’s Public Law and Litigation Groups. He earned his J.D. at Drake University Law School, with the distinction of being selected to the National Order of the Barristers. Mr. Patrick was a two-time national mock trial team member and active in the Black Law Student and Iowa Student Bar Associations. He earned his B.A. in Psychology and Political Science at Rutgers University, where he was a member of the Cap and Skull Rutgers Honor Society.

Mr. Patrick gained legal experience as a law clerk at Des Moines area law firms, including Gonzalez Saggio & Harlan, and as a student attorney in appellate advocacy at the Drake University Legal Clinic. He worked as an Intern to Senator Matt McCoy and Clerk to Assistant Majority Leader Ako Abdul-Samad of the Iowa Capitol General Assembly, as well as a Federal Legislative Assistant to the Insurance Commissioner of the Iowa Insurance Division.

Mr. Patrick is licensed to practice in the State of Iowa. He is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.-Des Moines Alumni Chapter and is a member of the Friends of Des Moines Park Board.
