Robert (Rob) A. Dudek

Biography

Robert (Rob) A. Dudek is an experienced transactional lawyer, representing both owners and financial institutions in commercial lending transactions and real estate, in particular, commercial, retail, and multifamily housing development, project financing, management operations, and construction.

His real estate development experience includes managing the sale of investment properties, preparation of operating agreements, drafting of commercial offers to purchase real estate, preparation and facilitation of various forms of construction, facilitating the review of financing options, closings, title commitments, survey assessment, commercial, office and retail space leases, developer agreements, and managing general contract disputes.

Mr. Dudek’s property management and operations experience includes the implementation and organization of property management agreements, standard tenant lease forms, service provider space agreements and leases, and a variety of contracts relating to property management responsibilities and services. He has supervised regulatory compliance activities for affordable housing projects and related income qualification guidelines imposed by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the Wisconsin Housing and Development Authority (WHEDA).

Mr. Dudek has extensive experience assisting borrowers and lending institutions in a wide range of commercial and retail financing transactions, as well as housing development projects. This includes refinancings and new construction. Furthermore, he provides valuable support to clients in meeting the needs of borrowers and lenders in successfully closing commercial loans. Additionally, Mr. Dudek’s bank financing experience includes responding to initial transaction questions and documentation planning, drafting and review of loan and security documents for both borrower and any guarantors, and due diligence investigations.

Mr. Dudek earned a B.S. in Accounting at Regis University in Denver, Colorado and his J.D. at Marquette University Law School. He is admitted to practice in Wisconsin. He is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin and the Bar’s Real Property and Business Law Sections. Mr. Dudek is the Chairman of the Hales Corners Community Development Authority.
