L. Trent Stinson received a B.A. in the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University and a J.D. from Harvard Law School. He is admitted to practice in Florida and Illinois. Prior to joining GS&H, Mr. Stinson was Of Counsel to Akerman Senterfitt, a major Miami downtown law firm with offices throughout Florida. He was Of Counsel in the Corporate & Securities Department where he was responsible for debt and securities offerings, securities compliance, mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings and reorganizations and general corporate transactional matters. In addition to his work with Akerman Senterfitt, Mr. Stinson was Vice President, General Counsel & Secretary at Nissan Forklift Corporation; Division Counsel at Minnesota Mining & Manufacturing Company; General Attorney at United Airlines and an Associate at the Chicago-based firm of Mayer Brown & Platt. Mr. Stinson is an attorney in the Transactional Law Group and is a partner of the firm.
