Donald J. Weiss

Biography

Donald J. Weiss is an accomplished attorney with extensive experience in diverse areas of law, including commercial transactions, mortgage foreclosures, real estate and leasing, business torts, and general corporate litigation. Mr. Weiss has experienced a high level of success in summary judgment motions and appeals.

His litigation background includes personal injury, construction accidents, wrongful death, premises liability, and products liability. Mr. Weiss has extensive experience with jury trials, bench trials, and administrative hearings. He has been involved in all phases of tort litigation from mediation conferences, binding arbitration hearings, jury trials, to appeals.

Mr. Weiss has been designated as a Continuing Legal Education Guest Panelist by the Brooklyn Bar Association and is a guest lecturer on local cable television. He is a member of the Bar of the State of New York and the New York State Trial Lawyers Association.

Mr. Weiss earned his J.D. at St. John’s University School of Law and a B.B.A. from Bernard Baruch College. He is admitted to practice in the State of New York and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
