John
J. Williams received a B.A.
from the State University of New York College at Purchase and a J.D. from
the State University of New York at Buffalo. Following law school, Mr.
Williams served the City of Cincinnati, Ohio as Assistant City Prosecutor
and later as Assistant City Solicitor. Mr. Williams has significant
experience as a litigator, at all levels, and has tried approximately
twenty jury trials for the City of Cincinnati. He is admitted to practice
in Ohio, New York, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of
Ohio, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, the U.S. Court of
Claims, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for
the Federal Circuit. Mr. Williams is actively involved in the community
of Cincinnati as well as in the Cincinnati Bar Association and in its
service to the community. Some of his professional associations and civic affiliations include:
Trustee, Cincinnati Bar Association (CBA); Chair, Community Service Committee, President, Cincinnati Bar Foundation;
President, Black Lawyers Association of Cincinnati (1995-1999); Member, Ohio State Bar Association; Member, Editorial Board, Ohio
Lawyer; Advisory Board, University of Cincinnati College of Law; Board Member, Alcohol Drug
Addiction Services Board of Hamilton County; Board Member, ProKids and Pro Seniors.
Mr. Williams' practice is dedicated to serving both corporate and municipal clients in all areas
of civil litigation including insurance defense, equal opportunities and employment law, and general commercial litigation
