Alexander (Alex) Yusupov

Biography

Alex Yusupov is a litigator representing clients in commercial, business, construction and civil law, creditors’ rights, and collection matters. He has served as lead counsel in numerous bench and jury trials, as well as in appellate courts. Upon admission to the bar, Mr. Yusupov worked for an Atlanta firm, during which time he appeared several times in the Fulton County Business Court, successfully prosecuting issues in connection with a multi-million dollar case.

Mr. Yusupov has experience in insurance premiums litigation, real property subrogation, and insurance arbitration. He has successfully advocated several precedent setting cases in the Georgia Court of Appeals regarding insurance premiums, enforceability of insurance contracts and agency issues. He also has experience construction liability cases, and residential building.

In the top 5% of his class, Mr. Yusupov earned his J.D. at John Marshall Law School of Atlanta, where he was the Articles Editor of the inaugural edition of John Marshall Law School Law Journal. He received a BBA in Business Administration graduating magna cum laude from Georgia State University. Mr. Yusupov is admitted to practice in Georgia, the U.S. District Courts of the Northern and Middle Districts, and Georgia’s appellate courts. He is a member of the Georgia Bar Association, where he is a member of the Creditors’ Rights Section. He was born in Tashkent, Uzbekistan and immigrated to the United States in 1988 and was raised in Queens, New York. He is fluent in Russian.
