Donald Levine is a founding member of The Illinois Chapter of the Association of Attorney Mediators and is a program presenter and participant for Settlement Week being held April 7-11, 2014 in Chicago for cases pending in Cook County. Members of the Chapter will act as mediators on a pro bono basis as a vehicle to acquaint people (and lawyers) with the benefits of the mediation process. During Settlement Week, members of the Chapter, and other qualified mediators, will be available without a fee or other compensation to provide half day (or in appropriate cases, full day) mediations of pending cases or disputes. To participate in the program, each party must make a $250 contribution to one of the following three charities: Legal Assistance Foundation of Metropolitan Chicago, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, or National Military Family Association.
