Shari Manasseh was invited to join and recently accepted a position on the Young Professionals Council for the 501(c)(3) community based organization, Children of Promise, NYC . Currently based in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, the unique organization is dedicated to educating and empowering children of incarcerated parents. Huffington Post, NY Post, New York Daily News, and several other publications have brought press coverage to the mission and vision of the organization, including an appearance of the organization on the television show Secret Millionaire. Ms. Manasseh’s role on the Young Professionals Council will allow her to contribute to the rewarding work of educating children and creating progress for a population of children that are often forgotten.
