Biography
Radha D. S. Kulkarni’s practice includes business litigation, healthcare litigation, employment litigation and counseling, and intellectual property. Ms. Kulkarni has worked on matters involving complex issues of state and federal civil procedure. She has participated in the litigation of claims involving misappropriation of trade secrets, unfair competition, wrongful termination, discrimination, California wage and hour issues, the Medicare Act, the Knox-Keene Health Care Plan Act, right of publicity, patent infringement, copyright, and the Montreal Convention International Treaty.
Ms. Kulkarni joined Gonzalez Saggio & Harlan when the firm merged with her prior firm, Hernandez, Schaedel & Associates, where she started working as a summer associate during law school. Before coming to Hernandez Schaedel & Associates, Ms. Kulkarni was a summer law clerk in the area of housing litigation, where she worked on cases involving landlord tenant issues, housing discrimination, Section 8, and mortgage disputes.
Ms. Kulkarni graduated from the UCLA School of Law in 2013. While at UCLA, she served as Executive Officer of External Affairs for the Moot Court Honors Program, President of the South Asian Law Students Association, and Managing Editor for the UCLA Entertainment Law Review.
Ms. Kulkarni received her undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College, where she majored in Classical Studies, with Honors, minored in English and was chosen as a Rockefeller Leadership Fellow.
Ms. Kulkarni serves as Sponsorship & Development Chair of the South Asian Bar Association Public Interest Foundation, a member of the Executive Committee for the Barristers Section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, and a member of the Pasadena Bar Association Employment Law Section. She also serves on the board of the Dartmouth Club of Los Angeles. Ms. Kulkarni is admitted to practice in California, U.S. District Court for the Central District of California and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
