Biography
Emily M. LaCroix primarily practices in the areas of litigation and insurance defense. Her litigation practice consists of representing clients in commercial litigation, as well as defending a multi-national corporation in commercial and tort litigation, including pharmaceutical and products liability. Ms. LaCroix has drafted appellate briefs and argued before the Massachusetts Court of Appeals.
Ms. LaCroix has defended individuals and corporate clients of all sizes in claims arising out of liquor liability, premises liability, motor vehicle accidents, construction site and industrial accidents, and in performing insurance coverage analysis. She has defended insurance agents and brokers in professional liability litigation.
She gained legal experience as a Law Clerk at the Superior Court of Massachusetts, where she worked extensively with Justices on trials, hearings, and motions sessions in all phases of civil and criminal litigation.
Ms. LaCroix earned her JD from University of Michigan Law School, where she served as Publication Manager of the Michigan Journal of Gender and Law. She received her B. A., cum laude, from Wellesley College, where she majored in Classical Civilizations and minored in Economics. She is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
