Biography
Tatiana Semerjian Nunneri is an associate in the Firm’s Litigation and Employment Groups.
As a recent law school graduate, Ms. Nunneri has gained experience in a number of venues, most recently at a civil litigation and family law firm. She has worked on cases in both state and federal court in the areas of insurance bad faith, housing discrimination, business disputes, and will/trust contests. She has also represented clients in highly-contested marital dissolution proceedings involving the division of significant estates and intellectual property. In the area of labor and employment, she has represented businesses both in litigation and regulatory compliance. She has also worked on class action lawsuits involving alleged violations of state and federal labor codes.
While in law school, she was a law clerk for the Major Frauds Section of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Central District of California; the Health Quality Enforcement Section of the California Attorney General’s Office; and for a Southern California law firm, where she clerked in the areas of litigation involving business disputes, employment, health care, real estate, and Qui Tam matters.
Ms. Nunneri was also a Health Policy Intern for the U.S. Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions, where she provided staff support during the passage of the Affordable Care Act. During her undergraduate studies, Ms. Nunneri was the recipient of the Center for the Study of the Presidency and Congress Presidential Fellowship and published “Bridging the Health Policy Gap Between Congress, The President, and Doctors: Where Does the American Medical Association Lie?” She was also named a Robert T. Matsui Congressional Fellow.
She is a board member of the Italian American Lawyers Association and a member of the Armenian Bar Association and the Beverly Hills Bar Association.
Ms. Nunneri earned her J.D. at the University of Southern California, Gould School of Law, where she was a member of the Moot Court National Team and Hale Moot Court Honors Program. She received a B.A., cum laude, in Political Science with minors in Society & Genetics and Public Policy from the University of California Los Angeles, where she also competed on UCLA’s nationally ranked Mock Trial team. Ms. Nunneri is fluent in Armenian. She is admitted to practice in California and the United States District Court, Central District of California.
