Biography
Terri L. Stough practiced as a civil litigator at a Chicago firm prior to joining Gonzalez, Saggio and Harlan, L.L.C. While in this position, she drafted summary judgments and forum non conveniens responses, complaints and motions for discovery, default judgment, and adjudication of liens. She also appeared in court regularly on behalf of her clients.
As an intern for a large, international law firm in Rome, Italy, Ms. Stough contributed to an international commercial arbitration brief on breach of contract in the construction industry. She also drafted client communication for a telecommunications proposal to the Italian Regulatory Authority and assisted clients with Minister of Finance tax reporting compliance.
Ms. Stough received her B.A. from De Paul University, and her M.A. at the University of Chicago, where she also completed doctoral coursework. She earned her J.D. from Loyola University of Chicago School of Law. She represented Loyola in Vienna, Austria as a member of the Vis Moot international commercial arbitration team. The following year she served as assistant coach to Loyola’s Vis Moot team. She is admitted to practice in the state of Illinois and the Northern District of Illinois. She is fluent in spoken and written Italian.
