Biography
Todd R. Harris is an experienced litigator, with his practice focusing on complex litigation, including insurance coverage disputes; products liability; mass torts; insurance services; premises liability, including general liability defense; and commercial litigation. He is also experienced with insurance litigation, alternative dispute resolution, professional liability, and employment related matters.
He has represented both foreign and domestic companies in various jurisdictions throughout the country. Mr. Harris also actively counsels clients on a wide variety of insurance coverage and risk management issues. His experience includes acting as coverage counsel for the 9/11 Respiratory Injury Claims and World Trade Center Related Litigation Claims. He has also served as coverage counsel for claims relating to exposure to Diacetyl, commonly known as the “popcorn lung” litigation. He is an active litigator, who also counsels on how to resolve disputes in a more cost efficient manner to avoid litigation.
Mr. Harris is a member of the DRI – The Voice of the Defense Bar. He is a Steering Committee Member for DRI’s Retail & Hospitality Committee and is a member of DRI’s Insurance Committee. He is also a former Executive Board member of the Hollis Hills Civic Association.
Mr. Harris received his B.A. from the University of Florida and earned his J.D. and Environmental Certificate, cum laude, from Pace University School of Law. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey, New York and Massachusetts, and the U.S. District Courts for the District of New Jersey and the Eastern, Northern, and Southern Districts of New York, and has been admitted pro hac vice in numerous states throughout the country.
