Biography
Natalie B. Virden practices in the area of labor and employment law, with experience in wage and hour law, collective and class action lawsuits, and labor arbitration.
Ms. Virden gained experience during her time as a legal extern at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Phoenix Regional Office, where she worked on cases arising under Title VII; as an extern for the Honorable Samuel A. Thumma, Arizona Court of Appeals – Division One; as a student legal intern at the University of Iowa College of Law Legal Clinic, where her focus was on employment-related issues; and as a student volunteer with the Iowa Legal Aid Pro Se Divorce Clinic.
Ms. Virden earned her J.D. at the University of Iowa College of Law. During law school she received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in several areas, including Federal Courts, Professional Responsibility, Constitutional Law II, and Criminal Procedure. She received a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Iowa.
She is a member of the Arizona Bar Association. Ms. Virden is admitted to practice in Arizona State Courts, the United States District Court for the District of Arizona, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
