GSH Sponsoring WAAL “VelanDale” Scholarship Award Dinner

GSH is sponsoring the 24th Annual “VelanDale” Phillips Scholarship Banquet, hosted by the Wisconsin Association of African-American Lawyers (WAAL). The VelanDale Scholarship provides scholarships to African-American law students at Wisconsin’s two law schools - Marquette and the University of Wisconsin and is named after Vel Phillips and the late Dale Phillips in recognition of both of their outstanding accomplishments in the law. This year’s keynote speaker is DeMaurice Smith, Executive Director of the National Football League Players Association. The event will take place June 19, 2014 at the Hilton Milwaukee City Center.
