On April 9, 2014, Jack Schaedel and Jamie Lopez discussed California employment law with Scholars of Goldman Sachs’ 10,000 Small Businesses program. GS10KSB is a $500 million investment to help entrepreneurs create jobs and economic opportunity by providing them with greater access to education, financial capital and business support services. This particular cohort of Scholars was co-sponsored by Women’s clothing designer Tory Burch. It was entirely comprised of women, consistent with Goldman’s 10,000 Women initiative and The Tory Burch Foundation for the economic empowerment of women.
