Peggy A. Miller selected as a court expert for the Supreme Court of the State of New York

December 6, 2012

Peggy A. Miller, e-Technology and Intellectual Property Partner, NY, was selected by Justice Shirley Werner Kornreich of the Supreme Court of the State of New York (NY County) to act as a court expert and advise the court with respect to issues raised in defendants’ pre-discovery motion regarding alleged misappropriation by former employees of trade secrets in computer source code. In less than two weeks, Ms. Miller reviewed all papers, conducted a hearing with written and oral arguments by the parties, and issued her report and recommendations. On November 21, 2012, Justice Kornreich adopted Ms. Miller’s Report in its entirety and ruled on the motion, which had been pending for over seven months, lifting her stay of further discovery from the defendants.
