Jerome C. Bishop is a commercial litigator and transactional lawyer. He works with a variety of business clients in all forms of commercial litigation, including breach of contract claims, real estate, eminent domain, and landlord/tenant issues. He has participated in multiple jury and bench trials and practiced before both state and federal courts throughout Ohio.
In addition to his litigation practice, Mr. Bishop has advised clients on corporate formation, securities, real estate, and banking matters. He has also advised clients on labor and employment law issues, including discrimination claims.
He received his B.A. and J.D. from Georgetown University, Washington D.C. Prior to entering law school, Mr. Bishop worked for current U.S. Representative Christopher H. Smith (New Jersey), including a tenure as the manager of the Congressman’s re-election campaign in 1996. Mr. Bishop has been recognized as an Ohio Rising Star in commercial litigation by Law & Politics Media, Inc. in both 2006 and 2007.
