Commission, the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin,
the Iowa Utilities Board, the New York Public Service
Commission, the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission,
the Michigan Public Service Commission, the Ohio Public
Utilities Commission, and the Pennsylvania Public Utility
Commission.
Canadian federal provincial agencies, including the
National Energy Board, the Alberta Petroleum Marketing
Commission, the Alberta Utilities Board, and Ontario
Energy Board.
We have represented clients on an array of natural
gas and petroleum matters in connection with domestic
and international transactions, as well as regulatory
and judicial proceedings involving production, gathering,
transportation, sales and resales, marketing, rulemaking
and ratemaking involving natural gas and petroleum,
including assisting clients in the following types of
matters:
Negotiated and drafted natural gas purchase, sales,
transportation, exchange, processing, and gathering
contracts, including negotiation of a $1 billion contract
between a Canadian supplier and a U.S. purchaser.
Negotiated and drafted purchase and sales agreements
for natural gas, petroleum, and pipeline assets and
reserves, as well as compliance with Hart-Scott-Rodino
and other applicable requirements.
