Elizabeth Conkin received a B.A. from DePauw University and a J.D. from the Illinois Institute of Technology Chicago-Kent College of Law. Following law school, Ms. Conkin practiced commercial litigation and employment law for eight years in Chicago. Later, she relocated to Cincinnati, Ohio, where she joined the firm Benesch, Friedlander, Coplan & Aronoff. In Ms. Conkin's law practice, she has defended corporate and government entities against products liability, premises liability, auto liability, environmental litigation and management-side employment litigation. She has also represented physicians and health care facilities in medical malpractice claims. Ms. Conkin is admitted to practice in Ohio, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, Illinois, Northern District of Illinois and the Illinois Supreme Court. Ms. Conkin has served the public schools in her community by volunteering as a tutor to high school students and serving as an instructor in high school mock trial programs.
