Michael Mishlove is an experienced employment lawyer. He most recently had a solo practice concentrating in employment, commercial disputes, and civil litigation. Mr. Mishlove also practiced in two large Milwaukee-based law firms, where he practiced in the areas of employment and commercial litigation. He is an accomplished author with many publications to his credit, including the State Bar of Wisconsin’s Wisconsin Lawyer (“ADA and WFEA: Differing Disability Protections”) and the American Psychological Association’s Monitor (“Video Conferencing in the Courtroom: More Research Needed”, “Courts Continue to Exclude Expert Evidence on Witness Credibility”, and “Second Circuit Increases Judicial Sentencing Discretion”).
Mr. Mishlove is an adjunct faculty member of Marquette University, where he designed and instructs an upper-level sociology course titled “Law and Society”. He is also a Shorewood, Wisconsin school board member and a member of the board of trustees for Greenwood Cemetery.
Mr. Mishlove earned his B.S. and M.S. in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Michigan Law School. He is also a Ph.D. Candidate, Department of Psychology, at the University of Wisconsin – Madison. Mr. Mishlove is admitted to practice in the State of Wisconsin; the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin, the Northern District of Illinois, and the District of Colorado; and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third and Seventh Circuits.
