Gwendolyn D. Prioleau received her B.A. from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois and her J.D. at Northeastern University School of Law in Boston, Massachusetts. Ms. Prioleau represents businesses, municipalities, and governmental agencies, with a specialized practice in a broad spectrum of matters involving energy, the environment, utilities, renewable technology, telecommunications, and complex litigation.
For a number of years, Ms. Prioleau was a trial, advisory, and supervisory attorney with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), handling oil and gas pipeline rate cases. While at FERC, she also drafted regulations to implement legislation and presented oral argument before agency commissioners and administrative law judges.
Ms. Prioleau has served on the board of the U.S. Department of Energy State Energy Advisory Board (STEAB), appointed by the Secretary of Energy, U.S. Department of Energy. She is a member of the American Bar Association and has held several positions on the Environmental, Natural Resources & Energy Law Committee. Ms. Prioleau is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia, Maryland, the U.S. District Court for the Districts of Columbia and Maryland, and the U.S. Supreme Court. ENERGY & REGULATORY
