Jill Pedigo Hall combines years of experience in operating her own company with years of employment law practice to provide creative, strategic counsel and defense to employers of every size on a full range of employment issues . This depth of experience allows her to provide legal assistance to employers in ways that maximize opportunity, minimize risk, and support long-term business goals. She focuses on counsel and defense in the areas of discrimination and medical leaves, with an emphasis on FMLA administration and disability litigation, affirmative action, and employer strategy in handling electronic communication systems within the workplace.
Ms. Hall has developed and assisted in the oversight of voluntary and involuntary furlough and retirement programs and reductions in force. She has drafted handbooks, policies, and implementation manuals. She has counseled clients in the design, development, and implementation of affirmative action strategies to ensure compliance, while at the same time, building diversity on a schedule that is realistic for that client. Ms. Hall frequently lectures and conducts in-house management and supervisor training for human resource organizations and companies of all sizes in the areas of medical leave management, discipline, and illegal harassment. She has served as an adjunct professor with the Marquette Graduate School of Management teaching employment law. She also coauthored the FMLA Manual for Wisconsin Employers.
Ms. Hall is admitted to practice in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, the U.S. District for the Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin, the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota and the U.S. Court of Appeals, Seventh Circuit. In addition to these courts, she has practiced before the Wisconsin Equal Rights Division, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs. Ms. Hall is a member of the Board of Directors of the Friends of Schlitz Audubon Nature Center. Her professional memberships include the State Bars of Wisconsin and Minnesota, the Milwaukee Bar Association, the Labor and Employment Division of the American Bar Association, the Industry Liaison Group (ILG), and the Society of Human Resources Management.
