The Litigation Department of Gonzalez, Saggio & Harlan, L.L.P. consists of experienced litigators having represented corporate clients with a variety of complex litigation matters. Litigation Department Services: Commercial and Complex Litigation: Defend corporations with commercial disputes and develop litigation strategy for prosecuting matters. Product Liability: Defend major industries including automotive manufacturer, automotive industry members, pharmaceutical manufacturers, and consumer goods companies with alleged product defect and failure to warn. Medical Malpractice: Defend carriers and excess state fund with respect to alleged medical negligence. Worker's Compensation: Represent state and foreign corporations including manufacturers and utility companies in workers compensation matters. Environmental Litigation: Defended major international petroleum corporation in federal trial against environmental claims including CERCLA, RCRA and common law claims. Defense with respect to real property contamination. Bankruptcy Litigation: Litigation of adversarial proceedings in federal courts. Representation of creditors. Insurance Defense: Coverage issues, tort defense and defense of carriers with life policies. Other Litigation: Ability to offer a wide variety of litigation services with experience in construction litigation, distributorship litigation, condemnation related litigation, professional liability, Erisa litigation and appellate practice in federal and state courts.
